Many, me included, did view God as a vengeful character in the Old Testament. But those who truly understood his love kept trying to get us to understand that he was a loving God.

Took me years to "get it", and this explanation helps even more.Audreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09219761342468705017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3287358635672153461.post-80618059180198342322014-01-04T12:35:30.890-06:002014-01-04T12:35:30.890-06:00Wow..... amazingly well put! The closer you get, the more you realize how little you've fixed, and you're THAT MUCH MORE GRATEFUL for His grace.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11615567301005691023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3287358635672153461.post-44188161034409798972012-01-23T10:22:26.304-06:002012-01-23T10:22:26.304-06:00I struggle regularly with the fact that I am accep...I struggle regularly with the fact that I am accepted as un-mended. I often find myself saying that once I fix a few things in my life, then I'll work on growing closer to God.Matthew Shttp://www.matthewsumpter.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3287358635672153461.post-5383092552394682112011-11-18T22:16:34.491-06:002011-11-18T22:16:34.491-06:00What a wonderful recollection. Knowing Weldon Hil...What a wonderful recollection. Knowing Weldon Hill for over 28 years I have heard many such examples of his reach. You see, I married his daughter, Laurie. If you have the chance and are interested, read a book called "No Pass, No Play", as Weldon is also mentioned there, page 113, if I remember right, (I am probably wrong), but since you know him it would be interesting to you. Thank you for showing him as I have seen him. Once I saw him react with equal speed when a snake had gotten between my son and nephew at a gate. The gate suffered and so did the snake, ha! Thanks again. Mark Thomas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3287358635672153461.post-78616987306238655232011-10-23T10:04:56.111-05:002011-10-23T10:04:56.111-05:00Great post.
